Michael Anderson's fascination with music has led him to explore its many facets in composing, arranging, performing, and conducting.  Mike is pursuing degrees in Music Education and German at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  At the UW, Mike has written and arranged pieces for the UW Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, UW Little Big Band, the Brass Revolution tuba quartet and the White Bear Lake Band Program.

As a performer, Mike plays with numerous ensembles, including the jazz ensemble, brass choir and UW Symphonic Wind Ensemble.  He is a founding member of the Brass Revolution tuba quartet, which seeks to create new works and arrangements for the tuba quartet in both classical and popular mediums. As a conductor, Mike has worked with the UW University Band and UW Brass Choir. 

Mike currently lives in Madison, WI, and when not doing something
musical he coaches area swim teams.
