Toby
Shucha received a
Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University
of Wisconsin – Eau
Claire, where he studied euphonium with Dr. Jerry
Young, and a Master of Music Education degree from the
University
of Wisconsin – Madison,
where he studied low brass arranging with John Stevens. In his six years performing with the
Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, he won a DCI world championship, as well
as regional and national individual and ensemble brass competitions.
Mr.
Shucha
has taught instrumental music in the public schools of Franklin and Waunakee (WI),
as well as with the Capital Sound Drum and Bugle Corps of Madison. He is currently the Director of Bands at
Lodi (WI) High School, and resides in the Madison
area with his wife and their two children.
